What is Metapsychology Coaching™?

The short answer is:

A place where the worlds of Neuroscience, Psychology, Science, Metaphysics, and Spirituality combine, creating powerful healing and tools for emotional and spiritual growth.

In Metapsychology Coaching™, we can create healing through a neuroscience-based approach.

NOTE: At the end of this page, you will be guided on how you can get started!

Step 1

Why People Love Metaphysical Anatomy Technique:

Meta in Metapsychology Coaching™ refers to what is “beyond” or an over-arching framework. Metaphysical means information that you know is there; however, it cannot be seen or necessarily proven. However, we know it exists due to our experiences. An example is an emotional reaction that you can feel/sense from someone rather than seeing it. There is a transfer of information through the space between you and that person.

MC works towards resolving negative emotions, a variety of traumas, thoughts, beliefs, patterns, habits, addictions, and pain. These expressions of trauma all surface as psychological and physiological responses to environmental stimuli, genes, or internal thoughts and experiences.

In Metapsychology Coaching™, we also have different specializations so you can learn what resonates best with your healing journey, whether you want to become a practitioner or just learn how to heal yourself.

Step 2

This is a gentle, trauma-informed healing method designed to release unresolved stress responses and emotional imprints stored in the body — without requiring you to relive or even remember painful experiences.

We integrate discoveries from psychology, neuroscience, trauma theory, epigenetics, and somatic awareness, combined with deep metaphysical insight. It’s a graceful, science-based process that supports lasting transformation by working directly with the subconscious mind and the body’s innate intelligence.

We recognize that your body remembers what your mind may have forgotten.

Every emotion, thought, and experience leaves an energetic and biological imprint. When unresolved, these imprints influence your physical health, emotional patterns, and sense of well-being. The process helps you decode these messages, release their charge, and reprogram your nervous system for safety, connection, and expansion.

How do the Metapsychology Coaching™ specializations work

What are Metapsychology Coaching™

Specializations?

We have different courses for different needs and desired outcomes! Most of our courses allows you to become a Metapsychology Coach™ certified practitioner in the specialization of your choosing! Example, if you wish to learn our MAT Level 1 Trauma Release Technique, you will then become a Metapsychology Coach™ as a MAT Level 1 Specialist.

Our challenges take the form of Conscious Stress, which refers to the stress you are fully aware of. You know exactly what is causing you to feel stressed, whether it’s work pressures, relationship issues, or other life challenges. In this case, you can easily identify the source of your stress and how it’s affecting you. Then we have Subconscious stress, on the other hand, occurs when your environment triggers old memories or deep-seated emotions that you may not consciously remember. Even though you’re not aware of these triggers, your body responds to them biochemically, resulting in stress without you fully understanding why.

Unresolved Trauma & Common Mistakes

When Addressing Trauma

When trauma remains unresolved, it can express itself indirectly throughout the body. This often manifests as physical pain, addictions, mental health challenges, and other ailments. The body carries these unhealed emotional wounds, and they continue to affect well-being in subtle yet significant ways.

Unresolved Trauma & Common Mistakes in Addressing Trauma

One of the biggest mistakes people make when dealing with trauma is focusing on treating the symptoms—such as pain, anxiety, or depression—rather than addressing the underlying reasons why the trauma wasn’t fully processed or integrated in the first place. It is essential to understand not only why we couldn’t overcome the trauma initially but also how we adapted to that incomplete healing process. Without tackling the root cause, true healing remains out of reach.

Other culprits behind why we don’t heal

Other Culprits Behind Why We Don’t Heal?

Suppressed emotions in the body can surface as: psychosomatic ailments, negative belief systems, identity tied to illness, energetic imbalances, spiritual disconnection, hidden benefits, self-sabotage, cognitive dissonance, attachment trauma, dissociation, unregulated nervous system, and memories not fully consolidated.

In Metapsychology Coaching™, we aim to reconnect to body and spirituality. Remember, you can’t heal if you don’t feel safe and if your values and focus are not aligned with your well-being. You may have so many perceived challenges to deal with in life and this scatters your focus. This scattered focus translates to scattered and drained energy and this can lead to fatigue, ailments, depression, negative thinking, addictions, and the list that can go on.

Step 3

How MAT Works in Practice

How Do We Create A Healing Outcome

in Metapsychology Coaching™?

MC is a gentle, trauma-informed approach that supports emotional healing by addressing unresolved stress responses and trauma imprints stored in the body. By using our Metaphysical Anatomy Technique which integrates insights from neuroscience, psychology, trauma theory, and somatic awareness to facilitate deep, lasting transformation—without requiring the client to relive distressing memories, nor remember or needing to recall it.

How do we create healing in Metapsychology Coaching
Mirror Neurons: The Basis of Empathic Resonance

Mirror neurons, first identified in the 1990s, are specialized brain cells that activate both when an individual performs an action and when they observe someone else doing the same (Rizzolatti & Craighero, 2004). These neurons enable us to simulate and internally mirror others’ emotional and physical experiences. For instance, observing someone express sadness or anger can unconsciously trigger similar physiological responses in the observer. This neurological mirroring fosters empathy, attunement, and social bonding—core elements in therapeutic settings and in the relational presence of a MAT practitioner.
Neuroception: The Nervous System’s Safety Scanner

Coined by Dr. Stephen Porges in the development of Polyvagal Theory, neuroception refers to the nervous system’s subconscious ability to detect safety or threat through cues such as facial expressions, vocal tone, and body language (Porges, 2007). For individuals with trauma, neuroceptive sensitivity is heightened, causing their systems to react defensively—often before their conscious mind registers any danger. MAT helps regulate these unconscious responses, allowing the client to remain within a “window of tolerance” where healing and integration are possible.
Emotional Contagion and Co-Regulation

Emotions are transmitted through a combination of biochemical, physiological, and electromagnetic signals. For example, research from the HeartMath Institute shows that the heart’s electromagnetic field changes in response to emotional states (McCraty et al., 2006). When in proximity to others, our nervous systems naturally engage in co-regulation, where emotional states synchronize—especially in the absence of clear energetic or emotional boundaries. MAT promotes boundary awareness and helps clients re-establish internal regulation, decreasing susceptibility to emotional contagion.
Resonance with Unresolved Personal History

The human nervous system responds more strongly to external emotional cues that mirror one’s unresolved past experiences. Trauma from childhood, generational imprinting, or relational dynamics such as enmeshment can amplify this resonance, causing the individual to re-experience unresolved pain in the present moment. MAT guides clients to identify these resonances through bodily sensations and emotional triggers, facilitating safe resolution without cognitive overload.
The Body Remembers: Implicit Memory and Somatic Recall

Trauma is not stored only in the mind but within the body’s implicit memory systems—through physical sensations, emotional reactions, and behavioral patterns (van der Kolk, 2014). These memories often bypass conscious awareness, yet continue to influence how a person reacts, behaves, or perceives threat. MAT supports healing by accessing these memories through somatic awareness rather than narrative recall, allowing resolution without retraumatization.
Creating Safety for Neural Integration

In moments of perceived threat, the brain’s amygdala triggers the fight, flight, or freeze response, shutting down the prefrontal cortex—our center for decision-making and emotional regulation (Porges, 2007). MAT prioritizes establishing safety and regulation within the client’s nervous system to allow the prefrontal cortex to re-engage, which is critical for cognitive integration, emotional stability, and healing.
Accessing and Releasing Trauma Imprints

MAT practitioners use structured inquiry and body-focused awareness to guide clients in identifying and releasing unresolved trauma imprints—such as core beliefs like “It’s not safe to be seen”—without requiring the client to consciously recall the original event. This method leverages the subconscious mind, keeping the individual in a state of relative ease and safety.
Implicit Memory, Emotional Resonance, and Somatic Recall

Unresolved trauma is frequently stored not in the explicit, conscious mind, but within implicit memory systems—manifesting as somatic sensations, emotional responses, and behavioral patterns (van der Kolk, 2014). These memories are often inaccessible through conventional cognitive recall but continue to influence present-day experiences and perceptions.
The Metaphysical Anatomy Technique™ (MAT) offers a structured, body-centered approach to accessing and releasing these imprints. Rather than requiring the client to relive or vividly recall traumatic events, MAT focuses on identifying the emotional resonance—the energetic or felt sense of unresolved experiences that remain embedded in the nervous system.

Practitioners use a combination of targeted inquiry, somatic tracking, and autonomic nervous system attunement to gently uncover and resolve the root emotional conflicts that often correspond with chronic physical symptoms. This method is grounded in a client’s embodied experience and does not rely on imagination, suggestion, or narrative reconstruction, ensuring a trauma-sensitive and integrative process of healing.
Rewiring the Nervous System: Building New Emotional Imprints

Once trauma is discharged, MAT introduces new, positive imprints into the nervous system—such as safety, empowerment, or peace—through techniques including visualization, affirmation, and breathwork. These strategies engage the motor cortex, frontal lobes, and visual processing centers of the brain, supporting the formation of new neural pathways. Repetition of these imprints over time enhances neuroplasticity, the brain’s ability to reorganize and create lasting change.
Scientific Validation Behind Key MAT Techniques
Visualization and Neural Activation

What Happens: Visualization stimulates the same neural circuits as physical activity. This includes activation of the motor cortex, premotor areas, and somatosensory cortex—the same areas used when engaging in real-life tasks (Decety, 1996).

Why It Matters in MAT: By visualizing emotional resources (e.g., safety, strength, acceptance) during healing sessions, MAT leverages neuroplasticity—the brain’s ability to rewire itself. Clients begin forming new, healthier neural pathways, leading to long-term emotional and behavioral changes.
Meditation and Structural Brain Change

What Happens: Long-term meditation has been shown to increase gray matter density in the hippocampus, prefrontal cortex, and insula—regions involved in memory integration, attention, interoception (inner body awareness), and emotional regulation (Lazar et al., 2005).

Why It Matters in MAT: MAT uses guided meditative states and present-moment awareness to keep the client within their window of tolerance while accessing implicit memories. This enhances memory reconsolidation and emotional clarity.
Theta Brainwaves and Subconscious Reprogramming

What Happens: Theta waves (4–7 Hz), dominant during light sleep and deep meditation, allow access to subconscious material and promote deep states of learning and integration (Kershaw & Wade, 2012).

Why It Matters in MAT: Sessions often induce a theta state to access stored trauma imprints, bypass critical thinking, and allow the subconscious to integrate new emotional imprints without resistance.
Breathwork and Autonomic Regulation

What Happens: Breathwork practices—particularly nasal and coherent breathing—can regulate heart rate variability (HRV), reduce sympathetic arousal (fight-or-flight), and synchronize activity across the amygdala, hippocampus, and prefrontal cortex (Zelano et al., 2016).

Why It Matters in MAT: MAT uses breath as an anchor to regulate the nervous system, expand tolerance to sensation, and signal safety, allowing the emotional body to release stored tension and trauma.
Bilateral Stimulation and Hemispheric Integration

What Happens: Bilateral stimulation (e.g., tapping alternately on the left and right sides of the body or using auditory cues) promotes communication between the left and right hemispheres of the brain. This process, used in therapies like EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), supports memory reconsolidation and reduces emotional charge linked to trauma (Shapiro, 2001).

Why It Matters in MAT: Although MAT does not use EMDR-style eye movement, it incorporates forms of body-based bilateral engagement (such as body scanning and reflective questioning) that create hemispheric balance. This helps process fragmented trauma memories and restore emotional coherence.
Coherence Between Brain and Heart

What Happens: Emotional states influence the heart’s rhythm and electromagnetic field. Heart-brain coherence—achieved through focused breathing and positive emotional states—enhances emotional clarity, cognitive performance, and nervous system regulation (McCraty et al., 2006).

Why It Matters in MAT: MAT encourages emotional resonance and alignment between felt sense and intuitive guidance. This coherence strengthens the client’s connection to their inner truth and supports intuitive decision-making.
Somatic Tracking and Interoceptive Awareness

What Happens: Interoception is the ability to sense internal bodily signals such as breath, heartbeat, or visceral tension. It is processed in the insula and anterior cingulate cortex—regions that are key in emotional processing and self-awareness (Craig, 2002).

Why It Matters in MAT: Clients are guided to sense where the unresolved emotion or trauma imprint resides in the body. This bypasses the analytical mind and directly accesses the unconscious emotional narrative, allowing for precise, somatic-based emotional release.
Memory Reconsolidation and Emotional Updating

What Happens: Neuroscience shows that memories can be altered during a process known as reconsolidation, where old emotional associations are updated with new, safer meanings (Nader et al., 2000).

Why It Matters in MAT: By reimagining old memories with missing emotional resources (e.g., support, love, clarity), MAT clients create new neural associations and shift their emotional reality. This breaks longstanding patterns without the need to relive the trauma.
Affirmations and Neural Repatterning

What Happens: Repeated verbal affirmations activate the language centers, limbic system, and prefrontal cortex, reinforcing new self-concepts and beliefs (Burton & King, 2008).

Why It Matters in MAT: Affirmations are used to install new emotional imprints following trauma release. In a regulated state, these phrases become neurologically integrated, replacing outdated, trauma-based beliefs with empowering, self-affirming ones.
Energetic Coherence and Field Regulation

What Happens: Studies suggest that human energy fields (biofields) interact and respond to emotional states. Emotional distress can distort the body’s electromagnetic field, while resolution of trauma appears to restore energetic harmony (Rubik et al., 2015).

Why It Matters in MAT: MAT views emotional healing as both a neurobiological and energetic process. Shifts in the body’s emotional charge during sessions can often be felt as a release in the energetic field, supporting long-term regulation and vibrational coherence.
How do your emotions make you sick

How Do Your Emotions Make You Sick?

Thoughts and emotions can significantly impact our health. Research shows that approximately 70% of our mental programs are negative and self-sabotaging (Lipton, 2005). Negative emotions, whether they arise from negative thoughts or unresolved trauma, can alter the way our biology is expressed. Emotions are not merely chemicals in the brain; they are electrochemical signals that carry emotional messages throughout the body (Pert, 1997).

These signals influence the body’s electromagnetic field, which is generated by electrical impulses within neurotransmitters (Lipton, 2005).

Electromagnetic fields play a crucial role in the body’s communication system. They are responsible for transmitting messages through the nervous system, helping to coordinate responses between different parts of the body (McCraty et al., 2009). The capacity of electromagnetic fields to hold and transfer information enables them to program atoms with specific messages, which are then passed on to the cells. This intricate system demonstrates how emotional states can directly influence physical health, affecting everything from cellular function to overall well-being (Lipton, 2005).

My point? What you think and feel directly impacts your immune system, communication in your stem cells and ultimately your health.

The problem deepens, it’s not just your emotions and thoughts, it’s also your environment. What do I mean by that? People’s words, actions, thoughts, and even their trauma can have just a severe and impactful effect on your mental health, energetic body, and expression of your biology almost like your own emotions and thoughts. Did you know that? In my research, I refer to that as Trauma Transfer and Trauma Pattern Transfer.

We also deeply cover womb trauma transfer, which refers to the time spent in your mother’s womb. Science has demonstrated that a mother’s trauma can be stored in the cells of the placenta (Verny & Weintraub, 2002). This is significant because the placenta plays a crucial role in the development of the fetus, directly influenced by the mother’s physical and mental well-being (Schore, 2003).

Additionally, spirit attachment, which involves non-living entities such as spirits, can affect individuals. These spirits, often referred to as earthbound spirits who did not cross over, may exert such a powerful influence that they contribute to severe addictions and mental health problems (Baldwin, 1995). However, it is important to note that this is not the case for all human challenges.

You will learn how to utilize 4 Levels of Breathwork course, you will learn how to engage the brain to support profound healing, including finding deep subconscious answers. The course covers key areas of the brain such as the Limbic system, Reptilian mind, Midbrain, Frontal lobes, Master Cell, and Mirror Neurons, providing a comprehensive understanding of their role in healing. If you have a passion for both science and metaphysics, this course will excite you. For example, in Level 2, you will explore how to address conditions such as PTSD, complex trauma, grief, bereavement, cancer, pain, addictions, and most mental health challenges. This work also supports the vagus nerve, a key component of the parasympathetic nervous system, promoting relaxation and recovery.

Prenatal Development Trauma Also Matters!

We leave no stone unturned, we also deeply explore key developmental events, the atmosphere or your conception, and states of consciousness. Levels of stress in your parents deeply affect your key developmental stages, this means even from before your conception! We move through 12 stages of deeply affected moments of your development before, during and after conception.

Past Lives Matter! Here is why!

Dr. Wilder Penfield, one of the most influential neurologists and neurosurgeons, had a career that spanned over four decades until his passing in 1976. He pioneered a treatment for epilepsy that involved surgically removing damaged brain tissue responsible for abnormal electrical discharges, which cause seizures.

This procedure, often done with local anesthesia, allowed patients to remain conscious since the brain lacks sensory nerves and doesn’t feel pain. Using low-voltage electrical probes, Penfield could stimulate areas of the brain to pinpoint the problematic tissue, which could then be removed to ideally stop seizures.

In a case referred to as “M.M.,” Penfield stimulated the temporal lobe, triggering vivid flashbacks and sensory-rich memories in the patient. These findings led Penfield to identify the “engram,” the physical trace of memory stored in neural connections. He hypothesized that stimulating the temporal lobe activated memories in distant parts of the brain, likely through the hippocampus, which helps store and retrieve memories (Penfield, 1975).

Penfield’s work also revealed two important brain mechanisms: one that automatically interprets a person’s relationship to their environment, triggering signals in the conscious mind as an early warning system; and another that retrieves detailed memories from past experiences. These memories are often multisensory and emotionally charged (Penfield, 1975).

Although Penfield did not explicitly discuss past-life memories, his findings on memory recall have been used to support past-life therapy theories. These theories suggest that resolving memory distortions within the engram can potentially correct issues like phobias or physical disorders. Penfield himself, however, avoided speculative areas like this to remain within the scientific framework of his era (Penfield, 1975).

While unable to find direct evidence of the mind existing separately from the brain, Penfield was a proponent of the dualistic hypothesis, believing in the coexistence of both mind and brain. He noted that the brain alone could not explain higher mental activities, such as belief and decision-making, suggesting the existence of a mind separate from the brain’s physical structure (Penfield, 1975). In the preface of his work, Penfield expressed optimism that science would one day solve the mystery of the mind, predicting that spiritual and scientific communities would ultimately unite in their search for truth (Penfield, 1975).

It is an intriguing aspect of Metapsychology Coaching™ as we work with alternative aspects of your consciousness. During our more advanced levels such as level 3, we continue to work with 14 levels of consciousness that support our biological health!

Ever Heard of States of Consciousness?

In our most advanced level 3, we recover one of our heightened, natural states of consciousness that are innate to humans but are often inaccessible due to trauma and unresolved emotional issues, in this instance, it is our Inner Gratitude State! We uncover and address many more key biological expressions in the body.
